- The screen renders in both Lao and English per the learner's language preference, including all labels and messages. [refs: SS-PLY.01]
- At 90% of the character limit the counter shows a warning color; over the limit the excess text is highlighted and Submit is disabled. [refs: SS-PLY.05]
- Each uploading file shows a progress bar; upload resumes automatically after a connection drop. [refs: SS-PLY.03]
- Clicking Cancel or navigating away with unsaved text or files prompts for confirmation — Save draft / Discard / Go back.
This screen also has a view mode (read-only, for an already-graded submission — opened via UC-PLY.09 AF-4A, not part of UC-PLY.03): the response/file inputs and Save Draft/Submit/Cancel are hidden, replaced by a read-only answer, score, and instructor feedback display.
